A Look Back at 2025 – Big Moves, Fresh Faces, and Exciting Momentum at CES Group Engineers

As 2025 winds down, we’re taking a moment to look back at a year filled with growth, fresh starts, and a few exciting surprises.

At CES Group Engineers, progress isn’t just about projects. It’s about people, partnerships, and the places we’re proud to call home. This year, we laid new groundwork, welcomed top talent, and continued pushing boundaries in how we serve our clients and communities.

A New Home in Raleigh

This year, CES opened the doors to our new office in Raleigh, North Carolina. Expanding into one of the most vibrant markets in the state has allowed us to be closer to the clients and communities we’re proud to support. It’s more than just a new location. It’s a hub for innovation, collaboration, and opportunity.

A Website Worth Visiting

We also hit “refresh” on our digital front door. Our new website launched this year with improved navigation, updated service content, and a cleaner, more intuitive design. It’s now easier than ever to learn about what we do, who we are, and how CES can support your next project.

New Faces, New Energy

This year, we welcomed a group of talented professionals who are already making a meaningful impact at CES Group Engineers. Each brings unique experience and a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. Together, they’re helping shape the future of our work across all three offices.

Michael Tackett, PLS, joined our new Regional Survey Operations Director in Raleigh. With more than 30 years of experience in geomatics, including topographic and boundary surveys, LiDAR mapping, photogrammetry, and more, Michael brings deep technical knowledge and strong leadership to our growing survey division.

Dan Miller, PE, joined us as Regional Civil Engineering Director in our Raleigh office. Dan brings strong leadership and a strategic mindset that enhances our ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects.

Jackson Swain, PE, joined our Charlotte office as a Project Manager. Jackson is already making a strong impression with his technical acumen and proactive approach to project delivery.

Jennifer Gissendanner, PE, came on board as Senior Project Manager in our Columbia office. With 25 years of experience and a stellar reputation, Jennifer holds a BS in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University and a Master of Civil Engineering from NC State University. She specializes in natural gas engineering, site civil engineering, and stormwater design and modeling, and is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.

Cool Projects? We’ve Had a Few

We can’t share every detail just yet, but let’s just say we’ve had our hands full with some incredible work. From complex infrastructure upgrades to environmentally conscious designs, our teams have been turning bold ideas into real-world impact.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited about the opportunities to come. To our clients, partners, and team members, thank you for making 2025 one to remember. We’re looking forward to building even more, together.
