Description
Project scope included the design of a commercial subdivision and site design for a new $10.8 M Internal Revenue Service (IRS) national distribution facility on one of the subdivision lots, as well as the extension of a trunk sanitary sewer to serve the new development. CES Group’s work scope included boundary and topographic surveying, platting, construction staking, traffic study, design and the preparation of construction plans and specifications. Subdivision design included streets, utilities, community storm water management, erosion control, and a trunk sanitary sewer extension from Illinois Route 9 to the new development. Design of the IRS facility included site geometrics, grading, utility systems, storm water management, erosion control, parking and access drives, as well as permitting and coordination with the architect, land surveyor, and owner.
